Welcome to Noah’s Ark, Forres
Nursery is often a child’s first adventure into the world outside the family home. What they experience and learn can create strong and lasting foundations to build on in later life.
Established by Dr Isobel Scott in 1976, Noah’s Ark is a thriving day care centre in the heart of Forres that provides specialist support for children with additional needs, alongside mainstream day care for children aged 2-5 years.
With a purpose-built building gifted by Sandy Adam in 2004, Noah’s Ark is a partner centre for the Moray Council’s Educational Services, offering funded childcare for eligible children aged 3-5, as well as a popular 2-3 group.
Our centre boasts:
A spacious indoor environment featuring a home corner, creative area, cosy neuk, construction area, playdough station and snack/lunch room.
A sensory room equipped with soft play facilities and a variety of sensory resources, including lights and interactive toys.
A dedicated room designed specifically for the 2-3 Group.
A large outdoor garden with our ‘Pea Pod’ outdoor classroom, mud kitchen, building area, water station, sandpit, climbing wall, bike area, bug hotel, grassy hill and tunnel, and fixed climbing frame.
